29 Garema Pl, City ACT 2601, Australia Milk & Honey
My double macchiato was too milky but otherwise enjoyable.
If the coffee here isn’t quite the best in the Garema Place area, at least you can relish a certain rarified chic atmosphere without the snobbery of the sevice staff across the road at Cream.
11 Wentworth Ave, Kingston ACT 2604, Australia The Outpost
The coffee stand you’ll probably walk past when entering the Kingston Old Bus Depot markets, this place is actually worth a stop. Decent coffee to accompany you when you shop.
Open Sundays 10-4 along with the rest of the markets.
10-12 Dalby St, Fyshwick ACT 2609, Australia Deli Planet
Generally good coffee, excellent pizza, and since its expansion, much easier to get a seat.
1 Dickson Pl, Dickson ACT 2602, Australia Deli Marco
My macchiato had a little too much milk froth for my tastes, but at least they kept it separate from the layer of coffee. I did guiltily enjoy spooning it all up when I was done.
Plenty of seating at this café, though the indoor area is rather steril…
83 Foveaux St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia Le Monde Café
It seems you can do no wrong in Surry Hills. Another great macchiato, strong and with just a touch of milk.
45 Reservoir St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia Toast Café
Another very tasty double macchiato. Indulged in one of the fresh bananas for sale on the counter.
38-44 Foveaux St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia Taste Baguette
Bleary-eyed, you’ve just got off your 7am bus from Canberra. You’re wrecked.
Do yourself a favour: walk straight up Fouveaux Street away from Central until you hit Taste. Order one of their delicious espressi - Campos beans and all - and salvage you…
Sydney Airport, New South Wales, Australia Bar Roma
Opposite Gate 3 in the Qantas domestic terminal. Pretty good coffee, and a worthy alternative if you’re trying to steer clear of nearby the Gloria Jeans.
The Peak Tower, The Peak, Hong Kong Pacific Coffee Company, The Peak Tower
The view was spectacular, the coffee was not.
61 Grenfell St, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia Un Caffè Bar, Grenfell Street
Un Caffè Bar may be a franchise, but it’s one I can cope with seeing more of. Consistently good Illy coffee paired with plenty of Italian-inspired treats.
