Bocelli is a big, family-friendly Italian restaurant in the city, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week. Popped in for a coffee and got a milkier and foamier than usual short macchiato. To their credit though, the foam, milk and espresso were all kept on separate layers, and the slightly larger volume of milk gave the coffee a smoother, sweeter taste. Quite nice.
This place is also near an Internode hotspot, so free wifi.

Typical captive-audience, bottom-of-an-office-block café. Pretty good toasted sandwiches, drinkable but unremarkable coffee.

Un Caffè Bar may be a franchise, but it’s one I can cope with seeing more of. Consistently good Illy coffee paired with plenty of Italian-inspired treats.

Waffle’s make high promises, like “Adding new flavour makes your pleasant life!” and “Waffle makes different of your tasting!” I can tell you that they deliver on the waffle front (ours was tasty with cream cheese), but not on coffee: my macchiato was q…
