A little hidden among the fading ’70s highrises, Elk is everything you’d expect from a hipster Melbourne café if you shifted it to the beach — plywood benches and terrariums abound. Thankfully they have the coffee to match. Lovely espresso that’d probably hard to beat if you’re in the Broadbeach area.
