Kingston Grind Eyre St & Jardine St, Kingston ACT 2604, Australia

7
If you’re hanging out in Green Square, then Kingston Grind is the place you want to get your coffee; though—oddly given they’re the “original” café in their group—they have always been a little lower in quality than both Tonic and Group Seven. With the exception of the banana bread, the food menu is a little tired. Still, it’s a nice place to sit and get your espresso on.

One of several cafés looking out onto green square. Plenty of outdoor seating for enjoying a nice day. Decent enough coffee and a mean foccacia.

This cafe has only been around for a few months but has superb coffee, great atmosphere and friendly staff! Very cool antique bicycles and design magazines.

First time I tried this place it was diabolical, but they’ve upped their game and the espresso is smooth, medium strong and served with good cheer. Recommended.

Had a lovely, smooth espresso this morning. Design mags and bicycles abound. Minus one star for using Papyrus for their logo.

Really great cappuccino. Good place to go on a Sunday to avoid the crowds also.
