Strong espresso partnered with strong cocktails.

Good cocktails, good coffee, and a fun place to hang out and relax.

Normally a cocktail bar, but now open during the day for impeccable espresso and single origin pourover styled coffee (edit: as of Jan 2012 Cuckoo no longer does pourover). Eclectic but very comfortably furnished, with a nice outdoors area. Easily the most interesting good coffee place this close to the suity part of town.

A rather lovely place to stop and caffeinate after a run along Wellington’s beautiful harbour.

Great cup of coffee even after adding an extra shot, even added a biscuit on top of my take away cup. They were quick too, recommended.

A strong smooth latte that was exactly what I needed ehen I stumbled down the hotel lift in the morning, one of many decent Wellington cups of coffee.

Average cups of coffe, was a bit pricey especially when you consider the burnt milk. Plenty of places around, try one of them.

Allpress coffee was pretty tasty. Standard cafe breakfast fare, but well done promptly delivered. This place is hit by a rush of suits before 9am but quietens down shortly after.

Despite the name and the soviet-era flags adorning the walls, the coffee at Pravda is decidedly bourgeois. Rich, creamy coffee paired with some tasty breakfast options.
