Mart Delicatessen
Since the Fyshwick Markets have been upgraded, it’s nice to see more cafés with plenty of outdoor seating. Mart is one such place, but unfortunately it doesn’t distinguish itself much from the already well established Deli Planet nearby. My double macchiato was pretty drinkable but otherwise unremarkable. This is the second time I’ve tried to get a coffee from here, the first time I gave up after waiting a long time to put my order in (they seem to have created a bit of a bottleneck in by combining the order-taking and coffee-making processes).

A prestige Bakery Cafe which puts much more effort into its food than its coffee. Thankfully, then, the food is effing amazing, which puts the coffee at slightly above average.
A pleasant brew, but nothing spectacular. -

Whilst my order was not quite understood, overall the coffee was a great compliment to a very good meal. The chocolate & terra-cotta pallet used successfully in the decor was matched well to the choice of bean. Would order here again.

Coffee was well made, fresh and smooth, ..but not quite ‘divine’. Closer to four stars than three-and-a-half, and deserves the four thanks to friendly service and tasty food options in both sweet and savoury. A delightful find.
