Great coffee, tasty pastries - perfect morning start for those in need of a wake-up. If you are a football fan, you’re in Heaven during European football season.
Traditional Italian football oriented cafe on the dodgier end of Norton Street. Good doppio espresso, and a large selection of Italian style food and snacks.
Sitting outside is much nicer now that the pavement has been upgraded, as long as you can ignore the sound and smell of Parramatta Road traffic.
Definitely my pick over everything else on Norton Street.
Great food & coffee, friendly family owners, and an opportunity to indulge in some sports fanaticism once in a while.
This unassuming cafe at the Parramatta Road end of Norton Street in Leichhardt has a lot of character and, most importantly, do great coffee.
If you want to catch up on the latest football scores or watch some Italian news over a strong espresso and some I-know-this-is-bad-for-me-but-it-tastes-so-good pastries this is the place to go.

The cafe is inside the bookshop. Coffee is pretty ordinary and the food ain’t that great either. Working here is also cramped and uncomfortable although they do have free wifi.
