A beautiful rich long black- and heated properly. One of the best in Canberra.
Nestled in the atrium of one the city’s many public service offices, Loui is a stalwart of the Canberra coffee scene. Rumour has it that to be a barista there you have to have studied in Italy, which explains the preponderance of swarthy European gentlemen behind the bar. Unfortunately the coffee doesn’t match up to the lofty heights they aim for. Decent enough, but there are more interesting places nearby.
Loui looks like a pretty standard office building café, but upon entering, you’ll find some friendly table service and a wonderfully airy atrium in which to enjoy some of their well-made Genovese coffee.

Basic, no-frills café in the bus interchange. Friendly chap behind the counter made me a pretty passable macchiato. This isn’t the kind of place you’d go out of your way to hang out in, but it might do the job if you’re after a quick coffee between busses.
