This is a new place just opened on the ground floor of the new offices on University Ave, and unlike other office-building cafés, Stone Wall is actually quite pleasant to sit in. Spacious and quiet, it features a nice gas fireplace and also spills out into both the footpath and building’s spacious foyer.

Seems like they’ve got some good staff behind the counter: I had a very competently made piccolo latte along with a super cheap but quite tasty 50c slice.

Until the office building fills up, Stone Wall seems like a great place for a quiet coffee. Open from 7am Monday - Friday.

Martin’s right: if you ask for it strong then that’s what you’ll get. Cool location.

It might take a while, but the coffee from The Gods is a cut above anywhere else on the ANU campus. Well worth a visit.

My soy chai latte was fine but a little bit too hot and my salad was alright. As for the service, I was seated straight away by the friendly waitress. Once I ordered my food came quickly but it was hard to get their attention at first.
