Very good coffee. Great muffins too. And a relaxed vibe. A bit noisy with the bike lane being built outside, but that should be up and running soon.
Nothing embodies fixies and Surrey Hills like Remy & Lees. Relaxed friendly crew and a communal seating arrangement make for an unpretentious vibe. The coffee; top notch, piping hot - not burnt, creamy, with a smooth taste just bouncing under bitter (sort of like 70% cocoa chocolate).
