Kitschen
One of the nicer restaurants in eclectic Braddon, Kitschen also opens at around 8:30am on weekdays. This morning they served me a rather tasty double macchiato - perfect temperature, not too milky, and bold flavour with just a touch of acidity.
Generally they are not very busy of a morning, so it would be a good place for a quiet sit. They have some cakes and sweets for sale, but no sign of breakfast items on the menu posted on their door.

The long black here is middling to good. A little weak maybe. The breakfasts are excellent so the combination of food and coffee make this a worthwhile option. But if it is just coffee you are after head around the corner into Lonsdale St.
