While this was one of the first caf├ęs we tried in Cape Town it was, as it turns out, one of the better ones. Coffee culture in South Africa is still a way behind Australia but is still better than the US. The Village Cafe at least knew what a Machiato or a Flat White was.

My flat white had severely over heated milk but once allowed to cool wasn’t too bad.
