Floyd’s Coffee Shop
Another of Portland’s smaller, non-Starbucks like cafes. Uses Stumptown beans and turns a decent cup. Still getting used to the giant sizes over here. Standard cups here are usually 8 ounces which is about 250mls. For smaller cup ask for a 5 ounce.
Stumptown Coffee, done half-decently. Make sure you order the secret 5oz option if you want to avoid coffee-gigantism.

Mother’s seems to be an institution in Portland. It’s *gigantic* and packed out with diners, and the food matches the hype. The coffee on the other hand does not. Weak and insipid espresso.
