A little café attached to the excellent Readings book store in Hawthorn. I had a croissant with some beautiful jam, and a couple of decent long blacks.

Coffee was a bit stale and bitter. People are friendly. Atmosphere is for the coffee drinker who enjoys it with a cigarette and listening to intriguing music
