Same high quality standard as all the stores in San Francisco. My iced single origin was the perfect accompaniment to a walk along The High Line.

The only reason I’m giving this cafe a “4” is tie price. $5 for a single origin coffee, and $4 for a single origin iced coffee, both of which are excellent, and dare I say almost worth the price. Alas, I cannot justify paying this every day. Though, on those special days, it’s a really delicious way to kickstart the morning. The cold brew is rich with flavor, and low on acidity.

In addition to the micro-cafe on the Highline, there’s also a “real” cafe on 15th St. just west of 10th ave (next to Milk). Definitely worth a try if you’re in the neighborhood.

On the High-Line, actually really good

Hell yeah…after Starbucks and most other new York coffees, this place was so good I had two.

Good espresso with beautiful crema, flavour is smooth, slightly acidy. If you’re walking on the Highline and feel like a good coffee, this is a good nearby option.

Great little café on the west side of 7th Ave. Lefty baristas and arty wastrels, mothers with small children and big dogs, attractively aging men with e-readers of various kinds. My double espressi (I had to have two) were right-on. Some may find their …

Nice to see a full range of espresso-based drinks here, but it’s not clear whether they really care about them. My macchiato was on the burnt side.

Otherwise, a nicely situated cafe, with big windows looking out onto the West Village streets, great for…

Beautiful little neighbourhood bistro, with some rather good high-end food. Open for breakfasts; my advice would be to eat here and coffee just down the road at whynot.
