A lovely little coffee and cake shop in a nice area. I’d go here for cake more than coffee - the cake is amazing, the coffee is fine. My flat white tasted a bit weak. The carrot cake on the other hand may have been the best I’ve ever had (don’t tell my aunt that).

A friend recommended I try this lovely restaurant in Paris’ Latin Quarter and it did not disappoint. The friendly host served up some delicious French cuisine followed by a wicked crème brûlée and a smooth, tasty espresso.

Best coffee I found in Paris.

Delighted to find a Melbourne style cafe that is serious about coffee. Looks tiny from the outside but has a series of quirky rooms each with their own ambiance. We enjoyed great coffee on cosy lounges - lovely break from long walks to see the sights.

Cafe creme (similar to an Australian flat white) was better than expected. Good coffee flavour and creamy.

A little pizza and pasta place not far from the Notre Dame. They serve normal sized espresso, though unfortunately, as I’ve come to expect in Europe, mine was burnt and rather tasteless.

I ordered an espresso with my le petit déjeuner and got a sort half-long-black thing. Pros: served at the perfect temperature, unlike all of Spain; cons: lacking a little in the flavour department.

    I can’t guarantee you’ll have the same experience, b…
