Ampersand Cafe & Bookstore
I really loved the feel of the place. It has a narrow, window-lined café space at street level, but if you climb a staircase, you’re greeted with a huge area filled with books and couches and tables. I just stopped by for a coffee, and it was very tasty.

Great coffee and great food. Be prepared to queue for a bit, once seated coffee will be delivered with expediency but be prepared to wait a bit for food as they usually busy. Worth the wait.

Lovely smooth coffee slightly expensive for a small but no bitterness, not scalding pretty much perfect coffee. The yoghurt with berries was awesome and only $5.50 for a reasonable serve. I highly recommend this cafe.
