Pomona Cafe
Smooth. Creamy. Nutty. Delicious coffee. I’ve said it before, it’s difficult to fault a Max Wheeler recommendation (this one was pretty easy for him given that it’s out the back of his place). Food was excellent, service friendly, neat garden out the back. Weather was a bit chilly to be sitting on the footpath but heh, it’s Melbourne.
I stumbled across Pomona while they were fitting the place out. It’s a few blocks from my house so I had high hopes, especially given the dearth of cafés within walking distance.
Thankfully they did not disappoint! Their house blend is very tasty and they usually run a delicious single origin alongside.
Friendly, great breakfast. Very good cup of coffee. A great addition to the neighborhood.
