The original restaurant run by the Trimboli family is sometimes outshone by the hype surrounding Italian and Sons, but I think the food here now is as good as it’s ever been. And complemented by a terrific, dense, viscous, creamy macchiato.

Had a delicious meal and half a bottle of red wine followed by an espresso that was a touch burnt but still tasty.

Hipster bookshop that also serves coffee, and turns into a wine bar on Thursday and Friday nights. My espresso was quite drinkable, but I daresay it would vary by barista.

The newcomer to this area offers Ona coffee, well made, an array of eel-priced eats, plus a nice little fitout with plenty of seating. I’ll be back!
