Crap. Don’t bother any more.

Lost all the charm it had. Bad coffee, limited food selection, terrible service.

Now known as “West End Pumphouse”.

Sadly not as good as it used to be.

My absolute favorite coffee spot. Fantastic food, friendly staff, great spot to sit and work if you feel like it or just relax. Love it

A funky cafe/roasting house in a converted warehouse. Food looks decent, wasn’t overwhelmed by the coffee but I’d give it another shot. Oh. Bad pun :|

Less “Great” than it once was.

Excellent little cafe. Just out of the way enough to be quiet, and good prompt service on a moderately busy day.

As for the coffee? Excellent. My large flat white had perfect texture and temperature, and just a hint of sweetness.

    Pity I’m only visit…

Nice coffee here and a good place to sit if you feel like being away from the (bustle of?) Hobart streets for a while.

An unexpected delight. Here I was on my usual hike down Elizabeth St, and just for fun I spontaneously decided to have the nearest coffee. Island Coffees has small street frontage so it might have been easy to miss. But don’t make that mistake: treat yo…

Cosy friendly cafe. Great slow cooked lamb sandwich and corn fritters. Followed by a delicious creamy, mild flat white. Thoughtful staff too.

Lovely coffee. Do yourself a favour and get a gourmet burger to go with it while you browse the markets.

I know they have only just opened, but the service was slow (it wasn’t busy, the staff just had no urgency) and the coffee was very average; not a great first impression. No incentive to go back with Yellow Bernard just around the corner.
