Have tried a lot of different coffee. This is the best coffee I’ve had. If you like your coffee with a bit of strength to it but still smooth and not bitter, this is the place for you.

Respectable take-away coffee, but there are better places for that around here. This place is about the rustic French vibe (the name is a rough translation of Little Lonsdale), so frankly you’re probably better off coming here for a bite to eat, an evening tipple or a sit down afternoon coffee while you listen to the funky vinyl grooves.

Great, smooth coffee. The setting is a bit rough (Melbourne Central) however it’s easy access if you’re towing a little one.

I’d come back again for more of their marvellous beany brew!

Cosy, and lit with those old world bare Edison bulbs, this is the perfect retreat from the craziness of the city.

A surprising little Melbourne laneway special. Great espresso and a pretty cool castle theme. Hard to describe this place, so you probably need to check it out for yourself.

This place has become my regular go-to place for my coffee run before work. Latte of consistently good quality is served fast in this tiny little cafe with great ambiance. Very often the latte from this place tastes velvety and heavenly. What tops it…

Reasonable take-away long black, a little bit on the bitter side. Pick any of the myriad of cafes in Melbourne Central, they’re all about the same.
