The Pantry on Egmont
Back in Adelaide after 18 months away, and one of the first places I sought to revisit was The Pantry. I’m happy to report that this café is still delightful and the coffee is still fantastic.
Completely agree with Tom: this cafe always makes me smile - great service and yummy, fresh food (even the water is delish). The coffee is quick and always good quality! Recommend to anyone!
Great coffee and eclectic vibe. Comparable to some of the better coffee spots in Melbourne.
A small home-kitchen style space packed with melamine tables and cute vinyl chairs, Pantry on Egmont has revitalised an otherwise dreary set of suburban shops. We visited for a lunch to find the place bustling with activity. Service was friendly, and their menu is well-considered, fresh and very tasty. As for the coffee, it was very well made, using the seemingly popular (and very tasty) locally roasted De Groot beans.
Definitely a café with character and run with care. Would love to see more places like this in Adelaide.

Decent coffee and a nice outdoor area in which to enjoy it. The restaurant (and for that matter, the menu) are expansive in size, so expect your experience to be more mess hall than Italian home kitchen.
